Shared Healing
A lot of people ask me why I offer Reiki services for donations.
Well, my reason is Shared Healing.
There was a time in my life when I found that I could not have what many take for granted. At that time I yearned for compassion from those that knew me, and it comforted me to have a few true friends who gave in love and understanding. But what I found most touching of all was when I found compassion in those that did not know me.
That experience brought home to me the importance of just giving. Without prejudice; without preconceptions; without requiring or expecting something in return.
I made the decision then that I would create something that would allow me to reach out to people and just give.
I give, because I want to. Because it allows me to reach out to people, and to help them — no matter if it is in some small way. Because doing that gives me a sense of well–being and of happiness. And I like that.
I give to charity — the Save the Children charity is my choice
For the same reasons, I give to charity what I can, when I can. This is why I choose to donate a portion of all proceeds from my services to charity. It is my way of giving to those that I could not otherwise reach.
Reiki should be for Everyone
My wish is to place Reiki within reach of every person, no matter what their circumstances may be. I offer my services for donations because it allows people to choose a donation that is appropriate both to their own personal circumstances, and to the value of the service they receive.
For this reason, many of my services are offered entirely for voluntary donations — everyone can receive Reiki healings and treatments in my Reiki Sessions and Distance Reiki Sessions, and learn how to heal themselves and others in my first Reiki Classes and receive on–going support as they learn in my Reiki Workshops — all at no charge and entirely for voluntary donations which I share with charity.
To those who are genuinely in need, I give without expectation — whatever you choose to share, remains your choice.
