Frequently Asked Reiki Questions, or... My Reiki FAQ Page!

Here is a list of the answers to the most frequently asked questions regarding my Reiki Services.

If the answer to your question is not listed here, please feel free to Contact Me.

Q. You provide Reiki services for tips, so are they really for free?

A. If you eat at a restaurant without paying for the food, have you eaten for free? You have. Will you tip the waitress for the service you received after the meal? That's up to you — tipping is voluntary, and in my view it's just another name for a voluntary donation.

Q. How much should I tip?

A. I don't like answering this question because I firmly believe the decision should be entirely yours! However, so many people have been asking the same question over and over, that I thought it best to write something, so as a guide, here goes: some people tip $20, some people tip $40, some people tip more, and some people tip less. I repeat however, that the decision is entirely yours to make — it is you that is leaving the tip!

Q. What if I cannot afford to tip anything?

A. Your voluntary donations allow me to keep offering my services without charging for them, but if you genuinely cannot afford to contribute, I will not turn you away. This is part of my philosophy of Shared Healing.

Q. How good are your Reiki services?

A. The best answer is to try them out! They are all for tips, so you have nothing to lose!

Q. What is Shared Healing?

A. Shared Healing is the philosophy and reason behind why I do not charge for my services. I have chosen to share my Reiki healing with anyone who wishes to benefit from it. Whatever you choose to share remains your choice.

You can read more about Shared Healing here.

Q. What other Reiki services do you offer?

A. I offer Reiki healings in person, or through Distance Healing. I also offer classes to teach Reiki at all levels: Reiki Level I, Reiki Level II, and Reiki III/Master classes. All services and classes are offered for Tips.

Q. What is Tipping for Charity?

A. A portion of all contributions received goes to Save The Children charity. If you tip less than $20, 5% goes to charity; if you tip more than $20, 15% goes to charity; if you tip more than $50, 20% goes to charity. This is my way of extending Shared Healing to those I could not otherwise reach.

Q. How do I cancel a booking?

A. Simply email or call me. Details are on the Contact Me page.

48 hours minimum notice required for all cancellations. If you cancel after that time (or don't turn up), then I ask that you make up for it by donating an amount of your choosing which will go entirely to the Save the Children charity. If you decide not to donate for a late cancellation, I may give priority to other customers in future, or refrain from offering you further services.

Late cancellations waste everybody's time and prevent others from attending in your place. With these donations, at least needy families and children can benefit. If you consider other similar services where you would lose your deposit or perhaps the entire fee, I'm sure you will agree that this is a very fair and friendly cancellation policy by comparison.
