California Reiki Celebrates its Anniversary 2008!

September marked a very special time for California Reiki. Special events were organized, the invitations were sent, and people came from far and wide to enjoy themselves! What more could we ask for?

This past year has been an absolute whirlwind. Reiki has been a passion for me since the first day I was introduced to it. It is something I do for the love of doing it; something that fills my spare time with so much joy and so much happiness, and it is the giving that drives me.

I've lost count of the number of classes, workshops and sessions that have filled my days this year, but looking back, the most rewarding thing for me has been to witness how on so many occasions Reiki has empowered people and helped create a positive change in their lives; I have seen the smiling faces of students and clients, and it is something truly worth celebrating. So how rewarding was it for me then, that when I extended an invitation to some of my most frequent customers to attend a very special workshop and a party, that so many of them came from far and wide to join me in celebrating this very special time.

This year I organized two anniversary events: One was a special workshop which combined Reiki with a technique and meditation to help manifest desires — I thought this was appropriate since so many good things have happened to me this year by following these techniques that I wanted to share them. The other event was a party enjoyed in the sunshine with food, drinks, and of course cake!

I would like to round off this story with a few words to all the people I've had the privilege of meeting through California Reiki this year, and especially to all those smiling faces who came to celebrate with me: Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I hope that all of you continue to find the same peace, joy, and happiness that Reiki has provided me with over the years.
